Riverside Retreat is a rustic venue, and lends itself as an idyllic setting for your special day!

Our wedding facilities include a large country style barn with an open fireplace, perfect for your wedding reception. Adjacent to this is a rustic amphitheatre & open grass area for the ‘I do’ moment… your wedding ceremony.

The Retreat also has onsite self contained accommodation which can sleep 12. In addition to this is 2 x outdoor dorms, which can sleep up to 22 in each. Camp grounds include a large outdoor dining area with ample seating; or hire our beautiful bench seating and white fold out chairs. We also have several BBQ areas and cocktail pre-dinner locations.

Our team work with local event providers to theme your special day just perfect, we will attend to all of the finer details so all you need worry about is getting to the altar on time!

Ceremony & Reception

Make your day even easier by hosting both your Ceremony and Reception at Riverside Retreat with plenty of outdoor and indoor options for both.

YOUR CHOICE OF SETTING

We are a BYO venue for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Serve your drinks in our bar area alongside the Country Matters Barn.
Drop your beverages off a couple of days before your wedding, and we will keep them cool in our fridge or cold room (if required due to quantity).

In collaboration with Mumma & Me Bites, we are able to offer a corkage service from $20 per head, the corkage fee covers:
+ Bar set up
+ Bar staff

+ All glassware and fridges
+ Water
+ Ice

Unfortunately we do not offer table service.

We are mindful of our liquor licensing responsibilities and we are unable to supply liquor to disorderly, unduly intoxicated and underage persons.

You are welcome to do your own decorating or use a decorating company.

-For Ceremonies only, you will have access to the property from the morning of the event, to be packed up by 6pm the evening of the event.

-For Receptions and entire weddings, you will have access to the property from midday the day before, to be packed up by midday the day after the event.

We supply round tables, trestle tables, white chairs and bar tables - when you book an entire package with us.

Ceremonies only have 12 hours access to the property - from the morning of the event and are required to be packed up by 6pm that evening.

Receptions & entire weddings have 48 hours access to the property – from midday the day before the wedding, to midday the day after the wedding.

Should you wish to complete a rehearsal, please discuss for scheduling.

Due to the residential location of Riverside Retreat, all music and entertainment must cease no later than 11pm, with all guests to have vacated by midnight.

Should you be staying in on-site accommodation, please keep ongoing noise to a minimum.

In collaboration with Mumma & Me Bites , we offer catering packages to suit your needs including
pre-dinner platters and grazing tables, entrees, buffet style mains and desserts.

Mumma & Me Bites are also able to provide your wedding cake as dessert if required, with tea and coffee also available.

Pricing is quoted on your number of guests and the catering required.

Alternatively, you may use your own caterer of choice, and we provide full access to all required services onsite.

Cabin accommodation is available for up to 16 people in 4 bedrooms.
Bedding can be configured into single beds or queen beds to suit requirements and all linen / bedding and towels are provided.
There is a Kitchenette, Seating area and Bathroom.

In collaboration with Mumma & Me Bites, we are able to offer catering options for the group including breakfast (continental or full breakfast), lunch, dinner and grazing platters during the stay.
Pricing is quoted on your number of guests and the catering required.

A-Frame and camping accommodation have access to a shower and toilet block, external to the cabin.
A-Frame accommodation includes the single mattresses and fitted sheet, all other linen and towels are to be supplied by your guests.
